Sinkply composes large fine line pieces — full forearms, half sleeves, backs, sides and thighs. One connected drawing instead of stitched-together motifs. Planned in a personal consultation, session is planned individually.
What we mean by "large piece"
For us a large piece isn't just "a big tattoo". It's a connected composition: every element is drawn together, put in relation to the next and adapted to the body area — before the first line is tattooed.
That's what separates a large piece from a collection: an arm that grew organically out of single tattoos has its own beauty, but a planned composition reads as a single form from any distance. Both are legitimate — we help you figure out which fits you.
Possible body areas
Not every body area is equally suited for a large piece. We particularly enjoy working in zones where the skin offers a broad, relatively stable canvas — and we always plan the composition along the muscles and movement lines.
Half sleeve & full forearm
The most frequent request: a composition from elbow to wrist, planned as a botanical panel, ornamental band or a mixed narrative.
Back & shoulder blade
Stable skin, lots of surface, calm healing. Ideal for lettering-large mixed forms or symmetrical botanical panels.
Side, ribs & hip
More demanding in the chair, but visually strong. The session is planned individually.
Thigh
Generous surface, hidden in everyday clothing, visible when you want. A favourite for floral and ornamental compositions.
Planning & sessions
A large piece doesn't start with the needle, it starts with a conversation. We recommend a personal studio consultation before the first session — free of charge, no commitment.
- 01 WhatsApp first: idea, references, target area, rough size.
- 02 Studio consultation: we measure the area, sketch directly on the skin and plan the schedule together.
- 03 We draw the final design. One revision round is included.
- 04 First session: usually the line work. Second-Skin patch and aftercare instructions included.
- 05 Follow-up sessions are planned individually, with pauses for the skin to regenerate. Free touch-ups included.
Price & consultation
We don't work with a fixed hourly rate — every large piece is different. Send us a quick description of your idea on WhatsApp and we'll come back with placement notes and an exact price, in our own time. For larger compositions we usually book a free consultation at the studio first, so we can look at the body area calmly together and plan the sessions before anything is drawn.
Consultation and design time are included, as are Second-Skin patches and free touch-ups.
