Geometric tattoos in Zurich — precise line, symmetry, clean form.
Geometric is not a separate style at Sinkply — it's a subtype within our fine line specialisation: straight lines, exact symmetry and delicate geometric shapes. Patterns that follow the anatomy instead of covering it. Founded by Aroa, Staffelstrasse 8.
What geometric means here
For us, geometric means the calm of the straight line. We work with base shapes — triangle, circle, angle, rhombus — and with repeated patterns, but always within the fine line frame: thin confident contours, deliberate black, and the pauses that give a piece air.
The result is a tattoo that reads as an exact construction up close and as a quiet pattern from a distance — no solid black fills, no overcrowded dotwork, just clean geometry.
Three routes into geometry
Pure shapes & angles
Triangles, circles and lines, exactly placed and tuned to one another. Minimal, clear, timeless — ideal for a first geometric piece on the forearm.
Symmetric patterns
Mirrored and repeated structures that wrap around the body area. Fine grid lines that create rhythm without filling the skin.
Geometry meets motif
Fine geometric frames around a figurative element — a plant, an animal, a micro-realism detail, held by precise lines.
Why precision is everything here
With straight lines and symmetry the eye forgives nothing. A tiny deviation that would stay invisible on an organic motif jumps out immediately on a geometric construction. That's why the real work happens beforehand.
We draw every geometric piece directly onto the body area and align it with the anatomy before the first line is set. That way the lines follow the movement of the body and stay clean over the years. If you want to expand later, you'll find more on our page about large fine line pieces.
Best body areas for geometry
Straight lines need a calm, even surface. A good placement is one where the pattern follows the shape of the body — and where the symmetry isn't broken by constant movement.

FAQ — geometric tattoos
What is a geometric tattoo?
A geometric tattoo is built on precise lines, symmetry and geometric base shapes — triangles, circles, angles and repeated patterns. At Sinkply, geometric is a subtype within our fine line specialisation: thin, clean lines rather than solid black fills.
How much does a geometric tattoo cost in Zurich?
The price depends on size, complexity and placement. Send us your idea via WhatsApp and you'll get a price after a short description. We work with fair flat prices per piece — every project is planned individually.
Why does precision matter so much for geometric tattoos?
With straight lines and symmetry the eye notices any deviation immediately. That's why we carefully draw each geometric piece onto the body area first, so the lines follow the anatomy and stay clean over time.
Which body areas work for geometric tattoos?
Geometric motifs work particularly well on the forearm, upper arm, shoulder, back and calf — areas with a calm, even surface where straight lines keep their effect.
