— Free Tool

Tattoo Simulator Zurich — your design, on your skin, before the needle.

Upload a photo of your skin, choose a design — lettering, sketch, or your own motif — and move it across the body area you have in mind. Adjust size and position in real time. No account, no sign-up. The tool runs right here in your browser. After testing, send us a screenshot via WhatsApp or Instagram and we take it from there.

01

Prepare a photo

A photo of the body area, well lit, no harsh shadows. Natural daylight works best. The area should face the camera flat.

02

Pick a design

Choose from preset fine line motifs or upload your own reference image. PNG with transparent background looks most realistic.

03

Move & test

Rotate, scale, position. Take screenshots. Send them via WhatsApp — we'll take it from there to booking.

— Why simulate?

A tattoo is an important decision. With the simulator you can:

Compare body areas

The same design looks different on the forearm than on the rib. The simulator shows you the difference in seconds — before you commit.

Test sizes

Many are surprised how much a design changes depending on scale. A motif that feels elegant at 3 cm can feel clunky at 6 cm. Test before deciding.

Arrive with clear ideas

Our team works better when you know what you want. Two or three simulator screenshots are worth more than ten Pinterest boards — you've already seen it on you.

Clear your doubts

If you're torn between two placements, the simulator helps more than any consultation. Seeing is deciding.

— 3 tips for a good photo

Natural light

Shoot during the day near a window. Direct sun creates harsh shadows that distort the design. Overcast daylight is ideal — soft and even.

Keep it flat

The body area should face the camera as flat as possible. A twisted arm or curved rib distorts the simulated tattoo — you won't see what it really looks like.

Close enough

Fill 60-70% of the frame with the body area. Too far and details get lost. Too close and you lose the overall context.

Common mistakes — and what they cost you.

Simulated small, tattooed small.

The simulator shows pixels, the needle makes real millimeters. Fine line under 15 mm tall becomes illegible over the years — fine lines blur in the skin. We'll tell you in consultation, but you save us time by testing with realistic dimensions yourself.

Screen image vs skin image.

A design on a glossy monitor looks different from matte skin. The simulator compensates partly — but trust our experience: on the day of the appointment, we place a print on your skin and you see the real reality.

Deciding on body areas that change.

A tattoo on the belly at 22 follows you forever. Belly at 45, or post-pregnancy, is different. Ribs stretch. Shoulders shift. Let the simulator show you the short-term view — we'll talk about the long one.
